• Just wanted to say God bless you all for the wonderful work you do. I've always had cats & just love them. I now have 6 (all strayed into my life) -- one is polydactyl with 23 toes. But without the Neuter Scooter it would have been difficult to get them all taken care of in a timely manner. I tell everyone I know with cats about you. • Just a note to thank you for your work. I had 2 cats spayed and they are doing great. Plus they now have their rabies and first distemper. I know it sure helped us because I am not employed right now. I definitely did not have the money to take one, let alone 2 to our regular vet. As a result we had 2 litters of kittens that I now have to find homes for. That is difficult but at least I won't have that worry again. It is funny how quickly they multiply. But it's not funny when you can't find them a good home. I know what a lot of people would do..... How sad. There were over 100 cats at the clinic, most females. Think about how many kittens that would be in 1 year. Thank you for preventing unwanted kittens. Please come back to Ohio soon. We need you!

• THANK YOU and your entire staff for this wonderful service to our animals as well as their owners. It was amazing to see the efficiency that handled 200 cats in 1 day! Pearl is recovering very well. She had a nice rest in our mud room, ate and is sleeping again. We have decided to keep her quiet for this day and let her back outside tomorrow. • I wanted to let everyone know what a valuable service you provide. My first experience was with a cat my daughter had gotten from a local shelter almost four years ago. Even with the voucher they provided, it would have cost at least twice the price of your clinic. The cat did great! We now have 13 cats-mostly strays which I adopted. Nine of these have been spayed/neutered when you have had clinics in Anderson, IN. I can't thank you and the Animal Protection League enough. Everyone was very helpful and caring. The doctor was exceptional! I firmly believe in a commitment to spay/neuter and contined care if you are going to become a responsible pet parent. Without your clinics making this service so affordable, I would not have been able to adopt all of these precious babies. I recommend your service every chance I get. In fact, when my niece's cat had kittens and were placed in new homes, we handed out Neuter Scooter info sheets. Thank you again for your dedication and service.

• I'm so glad to find your service. The feral and stray cats that I was feeding would have certainly had to go to the animal shelter because of the cost of the local veterinarians. • Our kitten Abby was reacting well when we picked her up, she was awake and responding. She slept for an hour or so and finally ate and drank just to fall asleep shortly after. That same night after waking up she was alert and came to sleep with us on the bed. By the next morning she was ravenous, ate well, and returned to bed and slept after I went to work. My wife said she was almost like normal when she woke up and even had to be stopped from wrestling with our Scottish terrier (her best friend) several times.

• My daughter is 6 years old and has had a very difficult life. She begged for a cat for nearly a year and I finally felt I could afford one for her. They have been best friends ever since. I wanted to give my childs best friend the best life I could, regardless of what my income was. I was told about the neuter scooter and we couldn't be more happy. Gizmo had her surgery this morning and it is barely 6 hours later... my daughters cat is sitting in a chair beside me and sleeping soundly. She just didn't want to be away from us. • I used your service last year on a female cat, but was very nervous about it. I have had cats all my life and had never seen such a quick recovery of a spay job. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the service. Keeping her calm was a bit of a problem however, because she seemed to never even notice a change in her day. • About a year ago I had rescued a litter of kittens who was drowning. They were about 2 weeks old. Their mother is a stray, somewhat wild cat who never came back for her babies. I bottle fed them and raised them myself and in a few days, I lost 2 kittens. As a true animal lover, it was heartbreaking. Three did survive. I gave one to my brother and I kept 2 females. I had never heard of neuter scooter until a friend told me about your service. I looked up your website and decided to book an appointment. I was surprised to see how many people were there! • I get the feral cats in my areas spayed/neutered and return them back outside where I feed and shelter them. With neuter scooter's feral cat rate, I can afford to do this. Needless to say, this would be financially impossible without neuter scooter. I am so impressed with the skill of the staff and quality of veterinary care. I feel confident bringing nursing, lactating and pregnant cats to neuter scooter. Your spay scars are so tiny; they are almost invisible! The cats recover so quickly. I can put feral cats back outside much sooner than if I had them done anywhere else. And, I know the cats will be fine. • I was very impressed w/how well the vet and volunteers handled the 100 cats that showed up w/their owners at the Anderson Neuter Scooter on June 7th in Anderson. My cat doesn't seem very happy this morning about her recent surgery but it is something I would do again w/the Neuter scooter team if I ever adopt another cat. • The Neuter Scooter is absolutely the Best. Without their low cost service, I would not be able to afford to keep my Barn Cat population under control. I have had many cats neutered, and every time I attend a Clinic, I am totally amazed at their organizational skills, professionalism, and compassion for the animals as well as the owners. • I have used the NeuterScooter twice now. At first I had misgivings and so many questions, but after going that first time I was so impressed by the care the little ones recieved that I have told everyone I know (who feeds outside cats) to get in touch with them when they are close to their area and take as many ouside kitties as possible. • I have 7 feral cats I take care of. I contacted several local vets and they wouldn't neuter/spay them because they were feral. We were averaging 30 kittens a year that I would hand raise and find homes for so there wouldn't be more feral cats. I couldn't believe it when we found out about the Neuter Scooter. We have had all 7 cats neutered/spayed with shots, wormed, etc. We have our feral population under control and they are happier and healthier. I sent a letter of "praise" to Governor Daniels letting him know what a HUGE service you are providing to the state of Indiana. You are the first community service that has addressed the problem of over population and then provided an affordable solution to this problem. • Wow, what can I say? The Doctor and her staff were wonderful and very professional. I was a little hesistant, but the volunteers reassured me that everything would be alright. This doctor is providing a very valuable service for those who can't afford to pay the vet's prices. She should be rewarded!! It has been two days, and Stormie is doing great. She is back to her old ornery self and tormenting our other cat. On another note, Countryside Animal Rescue and their volunteers were GREAT!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! • Dr. Peavy, you are my hero! The cat overpopulation as you know is so overwhelming...you must get a great sense of satisfaction knowing that you are doing your part to make a dent in this worldwide problem. You and your staff are truly making a difference in the world! I only hope there are similar programs across the nation. If there aren't, there should be. They could certainly use Neuter Scooter as a model. I have used your services 3 times and it has been a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I was glad to hear you stress the other night (1-2-07) to owners the importance of keeping their newly altered cats indoors for the night due to the cold temperatures. I had just heard the lady behind me in line say she was going to put her cats back in the barn that night. Then after you stressed how important it was to keep them warm, she decided to keep them in the house for the night and they also got a ride home in a nice, warm pick-up cab instead of being jostled around in the bed in the cold. • I wanted to thank all of you for the care you took of my babies, I brought in 4 females to be fixed,If it weren't for the genoresity of a doner and the nuter scooter I don't know when I could of afforded to get them done.they were the last of 7 babies that were left by 2 feral moms. • My mother has way too many cats. Yesterday (8-3-07) in Veneta we had one of her female cats fixed. This cat would have had seven more kittens if we had not gotten her done. Today (8-4-07) the Neuter Scooter people are fixing three of her kittens in Springfield Oregon. They will be four months old tomorrow. On Monday, (8-6-07) we will trap another of my mothers cats then get it fixed in Springfield. If there is a clinic in October we will be using the service again. During the surgery, Dr. Peavy noticed an unrelated medical problem with one of our cats and went above and beyond to make sure she received proper emergency medical treatment. • I would like to thank all of the people that provide the service for the Scooter. Words can not describe the wonderfull service that you do. I had to keep my cat in a dog carrier for three weeks with his food and litter box because of the spraying in the house and on people. If this program was not so affordable I don't know what I would have done. I would not have kept this one but he was the only one from a stray mother that survived. • I picked my cats up from the clinic lastnight (Feb 26th) and I couldn't believe how you got all those cats done in one day! This program is one of the best programs out there! This saves so many cat lives by stopping the flow of unwanted and homeless cats in shelters, it also helps from the over population and termination of strays. I can't say how thankful I am to have this program come through this area, I'm a full time college student, and needless to say I don't have tons of money to throw around. This program was effecient, cared about the pets, and truly cared enough about them to talk to everyone about how to properly care for them afterward. When I got my 2 cats home I was a little nervous just because one was acting weird from the medication and the other was just laying there, but in a matter of hours they recovered fully. This morning I'm happy to say my little cats are up and rambunctious as usual. Thank you so much again for making such a huge difference!!!!!

• To anyone who is thinking about using Neuter Scooter, I definitely recommend them! Thank you to everyone for taking good care of my girls! I brought in 2 females and both recovered great. When I picked them up, the vet told me one had pyometra. It is a disease in the uterus that will eventually kill a cat. Luckily the best treatment for that is getting your cat spayed. Now my girl is healthy and gaining some weight back! Thanks again for all your hard work. The Neuter Scooter is a blessing since many can't afford to go to vet offices. Also, they are truly making a difference and saving many cats' lives. Again, thank you and bless you!
